Have you ever wanted to have a server running 24–7 for free! Yes, you can setup a Linux server to run for free doing things with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It will do whatever you want. And it’s free!

Oracle Cloud Free Tier promises to give us certain services indefinitely for free (additionally, when creating the account they assign us a certain amount of credits), as we see on the FAQ page of this platform.

Always Free Resources

Learn what Always Free resources are available to all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure users

  1. Certificates : All tenancies get five certificate authorities (CAs) and 150 certificates included in the Always Free resources.
  2. Compute : All tenancies get a set of Always Free resources in the Compute service for creating compute virtual machine (VM) instances.
  3. Available Shapes : Micro instances (AMD Processor), Ampere A1 Compute instances (ARM Based Processor)
  4. OS Images : Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Windows, SUSE, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux or Your Custom Images..
  5. Boot and Block Volumes : Your account comes with 200 GB of Always Free block volume storage which you use to create the boot volumes for your compute instances.
  6. Object and Archive Storage : All tenancies get a total of 20 GB of Always Free Object Storage.
  7. Networking : Load Balancing, Network Load Balancing, Virtual Cloud Networks(VCNs), Site-to-Site VPN..
  8. Observability and Management : Application Performance Monitoring, Notifications…

Certainly, having already compute through 2 virtual machines seems attractive to us.

If you want to create a strong system, you can create a strong architecture with 1 VM as system features. (3 OCPU, 20G Memory, Ampere (ARM Based Processor), Ubuntu/RHEL/Oracle Linux/CentOS or Custom Your Images, and Free 150G Boot Volume Size etc.)

All you have to do here is to successfully create your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure account from the links below and then create the Instances.
